Hello, my friends. Thank you for your time today. My name is Epiq, and I'm the founder of Agoravoy. Not too long ago, I had the privilege of cruising aboard Virgin Voyages' Brilliant Lady. The ship is extraordinary. World-class dining, performances, and culture aboard that genuinely sets Virgin apart from anything else on the water.
I boarded as a single traveler, and like many singles who cruise, I was hoping the experience would offer real opportunities to connect with other like-minded adults. On the first day, I attended the singles meetup Virgin hosts on board. It's a well-intentioned gathering, and I appreciate that it exists. But what I found was a room of wonderful people whose interests didn't necessarily align with mine. The conversation centered around bingo and quiet onboard activities. Lovely folks, just not the vibe I was expecting.
And that was the moment it became clear. There is no system aboard the ship for singles who are actively looking to meet other singles to find one another. Just a beautiful ship, and the hope that you'll cross paths with the right people at the right time. For the rest of the voyage, that idea sat with me. By the time we returned to port, I knew exactly what needed to be built. That is why Agoravoy exists.
